CNN tries to convince viewers Kosher supermarket attack NOT anti-Semitic

During its coverage of the terror attack at the Paris Kosher supermarket on Friday night, CNN tried to convince its viewers that the attack was NOT anti-Semitic, and that it may have been aimed at Muslim shoppers who shop there as well.

Let's go to the videotape.

By the way, as I understand it, the Kosher market is located in the 4th arrandissement in Paris. If there are readers in Paris, feel free to correct me, but if my understanding is correct, this attack took place at the center of the oldest Jewish neighborhood in Paris (the 4th, the 9th, and if I recall correctly the 19th arrandissements are the center of the Jewish community in Paris - I stayed in the 9th the last two times I was there).

Hello, The Kosher market is not in the center of Paris, but just at the eastern border of the town, at the beginning of Vincennes, a suburb with quite a number of Jews, but not really a "Pletzel".
By the way, thanks a lot for your blog. I read it everyday.

No, it's right at the limit of the 12th and 20th arrondissements.

Whatever, you have to know that only Jews shop at supermarkets like these: any kosher product is FAR MORE expensive in Paris than products in 'normal' shops.

So the CNN guy is BSing his viewers. Btw, why the terrorist would target muslims precisely?! if so, he could have chosen a hallal shop, no?

It doesn't even make sense (sigh).

The Hypercacher, where the attack occurred, is located in Porte de Vincenne in the 20th arrondissement. The traditional Jewish quarter in the Marais is in the 4th arrondissement in the center of Paris.

No, this is not the Marais but at the ringroad where the walls of Paris used to be as you can see from the street picutres with the rails for the streetcar running the ringroad. I heard Porte de Vincennes on the news which would be the 12th arrondissement
